So far I have ticked off fifty-six countries from of my travel list. Mexico, Japan and the Maldives are but a few of the countries that I have had the pleasure to discover and fall in love with. While exploring the world, I captured and collected my memories through photographs. This is where my sheer joy of taking photographs was born!
It was also on this "wander-full" journey that I met my husband, Mauro. We now live just outside of Milan with Alfred - our naughty cat!
I feel that I have inherited a piece of each of the cities and countries that I have lived in: the laid-back character of Cape Town, the ambition of Dubai and the love of "la bella vita" in Italy. Owing to my somewhat adventurous life as a 'digital nomad', I have had the rare and rewarding experience of interacting and working with people from diverse backgrounds and places - something that I hope is reflected in my photographs.
When I am not travelling I am continually drawn to the creative life. I bought my first DSLR camera in 2011 and what started out as a hobby has evolved into a passion and now a career. To put it simply, that's how I became a photographer.
My thoughts about photography are simple. I believe that a moment is immortalised through a photograph and I would like to be there to capture raw and unguarded moments of emotion throughout our time together. Whether it is a wedding, portrait or lifestyle photography that you would like me to photograph, it will be both my privilege and pleasure to be welcomed by you. I look forward to capturing your story through these time-frames that we call photographs.
If you have connected with my images and my storytelling, I would love to hear from you.
