I remember this rainy day very clearly; that ‘butterflies-in-your-tummy’ feeling of nervousness mixed with excited anticipation. l could barely manage even a spoonful of breakfast and I just about managed to down some coffee. I must have cross-checked the items on my camera bag checklist at least 20 times before heading out. I remember all of this so well since it was the day that I got to shoot alongside my photographer-crush Christine Meintjes at her signature wedding workshop..
I am so, so, sooooo excited to finally have a platform on which I am able to share these images with you. Workshops are a great way to connect with other industry names, learn new techniques and discover different ways to grow your business. Christine’s workshop had some of South Africa’s leading vendors all collaborate, to style this rustic shoot at The Styling Shed in Stellenbosch. Was it worth the trip to Cape Town and the money? Absolutely! I highly recommend attending a professional wedding workshop by a photographer that you admire. There’s always something to learn and as an added bonus you get to update your portfolio with some stunning images.
